The Ferret is hiring a Business Manager. Our independent, not-for-profit, investigative journalism co-operative is looking for someone to take care of the smooth running of the business-side of The Ferret, and to support our ongoing development.
This part-time (3 days per week) role will involve looking after many of our non-editorial duties, partnering with co-editors and our board on elements like fund development and co-publishing agreements.
The salary is £21,060 for three days per week (pro rata of £35,100) and includes 18 days paid holidays, travel expenses, sick leave, and annual home working allowance.
The position is remote, but there is a community newsroom in Glasgow where team members can work. Our team meet in person (usually Glasgow or Edinburgh) quarterly.
