I’m tired of hearing the claim that Boris Johnson “got Brexit done” without any evidence being shared to corroborate the claim.
I think everybody would benefit from learning the truth about whether the objectives of Brexit were met: the objectives of those people who voted for it, and the objectives of the government representatives who claim to have succeeded in “getting Brexit done”.
No doubt the evidence on either side will be dependent on complex contexts and so on, but I’m sure I’m not alone in wishing wistfully for an intelligent journalist pick up the gauntlet.
What did they [the people who voted for it] want?
Did they get it?
