I am a former Glasgow A&E nurse qualifying in 1981. By 1988 I had had enough working in 3 Glasgow Hospitals where each and every week there were two overdose cases two deaths and two alcohol poisoning cases. I left to work in NHS England at a regional specialist ITU. I come back to Scotland in 2016 and find that we are the drug death capital of the world. I find also that we are governed by fascists intent on making as much money as possible before being voted out of office. Wish I had stayed in The Sahara but David Cameron’s Libyan Civil War caused mercenary groups to multiply and it has become unviable even for nomad communities to live there.
